Facility Spotlight
Crystallography
Protein crystallography is the gold standard for understanding the 3D structure of soluble proteins and their complexes. Protein crystallography links together many frontier areas of research in biomedicine, synthetic biology, agriculture and fundamental science.
X-ray Facility staff provide full support and training for the entire project pipeline from experimental design through publication.
Publication Spotlight
Crystal structure of MbnF
Crystal structure of MbnF: an NADPH-dependent flavin monooxygenase from Methylocysts strain SB2. This work involved the research groups of Thomas Bobik and Alan Dispirto from BBMB in collaboration with the X-ray Crystallography Facility.
